Nature Society of Tirupur organised an awareness programme on the importance of Birds and its conservation in Frontline Academy school, Tirupur on the 17th of August, 2013. President Senthilrajan, Secretary Ravindran and Executive Member Ponnusamy were present on the occasion. Secretary Ravindran introduced the common birds to the students showing the visuals of them. Later the students were take to the Nanjarayan Tank for a field trip and bird watching. They were asked to identify the birds sighted there and take notes. Students were thrilled to see the huge number of birds in Nanjarayan Tank.
