International Tiger Day Celebration
The International Tiger Day was celebrated in two colleges on the 29th of July, 2019. The first event was conducted in Avinashi Arts and Science College, Avinashi. Over 170 students participated in the event. The status of the conservation of Tigers in India and the need for conservation was explained to the students.

Awareness Programme on Conservation of Birds
The awareness programme on the conservation of birds was conducted at Sri National School, Gopichettipalayam on the 27th of July 2019. A slide show was presented to the students to introduce the common birds. The role of the birds in the ecosystem was explained to the students along with the slide show.
